Membership
Any property owner within the CID boundary that is an additional ratepayer (ie pays the CID contribution) may apply to become a member of the Camps Bay CID NPC.
Members are entitled to attend, participate and vote at meetings held under the auspices of the Companies Act.
Should a member be unable to attend the first members meeting, they may give another individual their proxy to attend and vote on their behalf, in terms of the Company’s MOI.
The board of directors is chosen by Camps Bay CID members at the first members meeting. Only members have voting rights at the first members meeting.
Non-members may attend the first members meeting and participate but cannot vote and as such have limited influence on the Camps Bay CID activities.
