Bjorn Train joined the Camps Bay CID Management Team in September 2025, strengthening our operational capability across control-room management, field deployment and data-driven performance.
In his previous position at Community Crime Prevention (CCP) he oversaw daily control-room operations, coordinates foot and tactical units, personally responded to serious crime and medical incidents, and ensured quality on incident capture and trend analysis. He also contributed to inter-agency coordination spanning Hout Bay and Camps Bay.
Bjorn’s public-service ethos is reflected in his volunteer roles: he is an Auxiliary Law Enforcement Officer (City of Cape Town) and a Volunteer Wildland Firefighter with Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS), where he has advanced to crew driver, skid-unit driver and assistant crew leader after ongoing winter training and seasonal deployments.
Before CID, he led operations at several companies in handling end-to-end operations and managing service providers and staff.
Bjorn is solutions-oriented, ethical and unflappable under pressure. He enjoys enduro mountain biking, tree felling and stand-up paddling in his free time.
